Two things to have ready: what the door is doing (stuck, noisy, off the tracks, dead opener, broken spring) and roughly how old it is if you know. That is usually enough for the pro to arrive with the right springs and parts on the truck.

If the door is stuck open overnight or the car is trapped inside, say so in the message. Those calls get treated as urgent.
